City of Englewood issued the following announcement on February 2.
Snow Removal Reminders
Regardless of which weather forecast or meteorologist you are listening to, it seems they all agree that we will likely experience a significant winter weather event the next couple days - with freezing rain, sleet, ice and snow accumulation!
Our first reminder, whenever accumulating snowfall is forecasted, please remove all parked vehicles from the street. By doing so, it allows our crews to plow curb-to-curb without obstructions.
Next, don’t crowd the plow! Stay back five car lengths from an operating snow plow, and NEVER pass on the right of the truck! Please give them the space to do their job. If you are passing a snow plow, you are driving too fast for conditions!
Our Englewood Service crews do a great job clearing our streets of snow and ice; however, they need your help to do so as safely and efficiently as possible.
