City Of Clayton issued the following announcement on February 8.

Planning Commission Opening

Members of the Planning Commission are appointed to five-year staggered terms by the City Council.  The Planning Commission is established by Clayton City Charter 7.02 and governed by Section 1127.04 of the Clayton Codified Ordinances.

What is the Planning Commission?  The Planning Commission is a group of volunteer Clayton citizens who serve as:

1. the advisory body for planning proposals i.e., policymaking, legislation
2. the advisory body for subdivisions and commercial development proposals, and
3. the advisory body for commercial architecture review.

Any interested Clayton residents interested in being considered, click here to find additional information about the position and how to apply.  Resumes and a letter of interest will be accepted until noon on Monday, March 14th.
