City of Trotwood issued the following announcement on February 23.
The Trotwood Community Improvement Corporation (TCIC), Cross Creek Hydroponics, and a cohort of University of Dayton Senior Engineering students are working to receive community input on the repurposing of a portion of the former Sears building into a community based market space, that will feature locally grown fresh produce and food products, an educational kitchen, hydroponics, and space to facilitate ongoing community engagement. An online survey is available for the Trotwood community to take part, as we want and value your feedback. The survey will give this group an opportunity to hear from the residents their opinions on the needs of the community related to the marketplace. Your input is crucial to the design and renovation process as the space is meant for Trotwood residents to shop locally and support local food entrepreneurs.
The entire survey should take no more than five minutes to complete. Trotwood residents can access the survey here:
