City of Riverside, Ohio issued the following announcement on March 4.
During last night's Council Meeting Sergeant Angela Jackson was promoted to Police Major and Officer David Schmidt was promoted to Police Sergeant. Both took an Oath of Office with Mayor Pete Williams.
The City of Riverside applauds both for their continued hard work and dedication to our City. We know they will both succeed in their new roles.
-Major Jackson has served the City since November 5, 2001.
-Sergeant Schmidt has served the City since May 20, 2002.
