The Division of Fire is excited to announce the appointment of Jacob Walters to one of two open full-time Firefighter/Paramedic Inspector positions within the Division of Fire. Jacob has been with the Division of Fire as a Firefighter/Paramedic in training since September of 2020. Jacob was sworn in by City Manager Dan Wendt and “pinned” with his new badge by his fiancé Ryan Ross at Monday nights City Council Meeting. Jacob will be assigned to Fire Station 1 on Third Platoon, beginning May 13th. Welcome to the VFD Family Jacob!
