It was a great start to the 2022 Vandalia Corporate Challenge this afternoon at the Vandalia Sports Complex!
Eleven teams from Vandalia businesses gathered for the Volleyball tournament at the sand courts at the Sports Complex.
The team from Inteva Products claimed victory, with GE Aviation’s team taking second place. Vandalia-Butler Schools and Waibel Energy rounded out the top four.
The second challenge of the day was the “Minute to Win It” event, which is comprised of three separate events.
The top two teams swapped spots…. With GE Aviation placing first and Inteva Products finishing second. The City of Vandalia Team and Kentner Sellers rounded out the top four.
With one night in the books, GE Aviation and Inteva Products are both tied for first place. The City of Vandalia team is in third place, with V-B Schools in fourth.
Tomorrow night’s action takes place at Helke Park with the Football Pass, Punt and Kick competition at 6 p.m. and the Frisbee Relay at 7 p.m.
The Vandalia Corporate Challenge is in its 33rd year providing an opportunity for local businesses to network, have fun and team-build while enjoying the fantastic amenities provided by Vandalia Parks and Recreation.
