City of Riverside Electric and Natural Gas Aggregation

On August 4, 2022, Riverside City Council passed ordinances authorizing opt-out electric and natural gas service aggregation programs for Residents.

On November 8, 2022, residents will vote on Issues 20 & 21 and decide whether these aggregation programs will go into effect on January 1, 2023. If approved, the programs will allow the community to pool the purchasing power of all residents to negotiate for more favorable rates on electric and natural gas.
