Light Ohio Blue has announced its second annual First Responder Photo Challenge, and Vandalia's police cruiser is among the entries!
In remembrance of the twenty-first anniversary of the 9-11 attacks and the heroic response by first responders, Light Ohio Blue and Light Ohio Red with the support of Ohio’s own Flying Cross Uniforms are hosting a friendly competition amongst Ohio first responders.
Public safety agencies within the State of Ohio are submitting photos of their agency vehicles, and asking people to vote for their favorites. We would be honored if you took the time to vote for Vandalia's terrific new cruiser, staged next to a Blue Angel fighter jet!
The photos will be posted for public voting from September 11, 2022, through September 30, 2022.

In early October, the winners of the contest will be presented with their awards during a ceremony that will take place in Central Ohio.
