City of Trotwood 2nd cohort of the Produce Farmer Training Program

Through Partnership with Central State University, we are recruiting participants for the 2nd cohort of the Produce Farmer Training Program beginning in March of 2023! 

Informational Session: 

TUESDAY November 29th from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM 

Trotwood Community and Cultural Arts Center (4000 Lake Center Dr. Trotwood, OH 45426)

Accumulate the necessary skills to begin farming and potentially earning income as a farmer! 

Participant receive: 

- 60+ hours of hands-on training 

- A small plot on an incubator farm site, to grow produce

- Supplies for the growing season and additional support following your completion of the training program

 - Market access for farmers to sell produce that you grow 

- Support in developing a business plan, accessing USDA loan and cost share programs and assistance finding land
